Telephysiotherapy Telehealth Center Rio de Janeiro: asynchronous webseminars usage analysis.

Abstract
This work seeks to report the physiotherapists participation in the area of Telephysiotherapy of the Núcleo Telessaúde Rio de Janeiro (free translation: Rio de Janeiro’s Telehealth Center) through webseminars in asynchronous mode. Methodology: Retrospective and descriptive study about Telephysiotherapy from the Núcleo de Telessaúde do Rio de Janeiro (free translation: Rio de Janeiro’s Telehealth Center) realized in the period of 2010-2014. Results: The results showed that the webseminars in asynchronous mode, in the analyzed period, had a total of 4.101 accesses as of 31 available thematic seminars. It was determined that the nocturnal period is the most frequented with 1.654 accesses. Conclusion: The data analysis highlights the coverage of the use of a learning virtual environment of public domain contributing to the expansion of continuous education for physiotherapists in the modality of correspondence course. The innovating experience of using asynchronous webseminars from the area of Telephysiotherapy of the Núcleo de Telessaúde Rio de Janeiro (free translation: Rio de Janeiro’s Telehealth Center) optimizes the creation of future Telecenters to help in the attenuation of territorial distance in the health and education access.
