Abstract
O Conselho Brasileiro de Telemedicina e Telessaúde é uma organização privada sem fins lucrativos e promove o desenvolvi- mento da telemedicina e telessaúde no Brasil desde sua fundação em 2002. O artigo faz breve relato do histórico do CBTms, suas ações e perspectivas e apresenta as expectivias em relação ao VII Congresso Brasileiro de Telemedicina e Telessaúde.
